Overview

FlowLeaf is a productivity app designed for neurodivergent minds. We believe your personal data deserves the same care and attention we put into our app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Data We Collect

FlowLeaf is designed to minimize data collection. Here's what we handle:

• Account Data: Your display name (stored only on your device via UserDefaults).
• Task & Habit Data: Tasks, habits, focus records, and habit completions you create are stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
• Energy Preferences: Your current energy level selection is stored locally on your device.
• iCloud Sync Data: If you are a Pro user, your task, habit, and focus data may sync across your Apple devices via iCloud (CloudKit). This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data — it flows directly between your devices through Apple's infrastructure.
• Purchase Data: Pro upgrade purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We receive a transaction receipt to verify your purchase status — we do not see your payment details.

What We Don't Collect

• No personal identification documents
• No location data
• No browsing history
• No analytics or tracking (no third-party analytics SDKs)
• No advertising identifiers
• No data sold to third parties — ever

Data Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and standard UserDefaults. FlowLeaf does not operate its own backend server or database.

iCloud Sync (Pro users): Pro users can sync their data across Apple devices via iCloud using Apple's CloudKit framework. Synced data includes tasks, habits, focus records, and habit completions. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We never access, read, or store your synced data on any server we control.

Third-Party Services

• Apple App Store / StoreKit 2: Used for processing Pro upgrade purchases. Subject to Apple's own privacy policy.
• Apple iCloud / CloudKit: Used for syncing your data across Apple devices (Pro users only). Subject to Apple's own privacy policy.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it remains until you delete the app or clear app data. Uninstalling FlowLeaf removes all associated data.

Children's Privacy

FlowLeaf does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require an account, email, or any personal information to use.

Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app.
• Deletion: Delete the app to remove all data.
• Export: Use iOS Settings → FlowLeaf to manage local data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
